Brunhilde Wilcox

Brunhilde Wilcox, 97, of Macungie, PA, formerly of Wayne, N.J. and Walker Valley, N.Y., died November 29, 2016 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. She was the wife of the late Benjamin Franklin Wilcox VI. She co-owned with her husband a boarding house in the Catskills, N.Y. and worked in her sister and brother-in-law’s family business, Fischl’s Bakery in Ridgewood, N.J. Born in Union City, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Franz and Ottilie (Hedrich) Blaschke. She was a graduate of Emerson High School, Union City, N.J. She was a member and volunteer at Walker Valley Fire Company and she volunteered at Wayne General Hospital, Wayne, N.J. She was an excellent seamstress and quilter and a member of many quilting groups.

Survivors: Sister: Ilse Herrmann of Wayne, N.J., 11 Nieces and Nephews, 23 Great Nieces and Nephews and 23 Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11 A.M. in the Fairview Cemetery 1100 East Broad Street, Westfield, N.J.
