John J. Wenner, of Sunrise Lane, Lower Saucon Township, Bethlehem, PA, died July 24, 2017. He was the husband of Darlene L. (Berghold) Wenner, they were married for 55 years in June. John was born on March 30, 1936 and raised in Allentown; he was the son of the late Warren M. and Dorothea Mae (Seislove) Wenner. He spent summers at Shawnee-on-the-Delaware. He moved to Bethlehem in March of 2007. John graduated from Allen High School in 1954 and Penn State University in 1958. He then attended the New York School of Interior Design. He was employed as an Interior Designer at the former H. Leh & Co. until 1996, when he joined Metro Design Center and worked until 2011, when he finally retired. He was a lifetime member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was active over the years with music and the choir. As a boy, he was an Acolyte. He was involved with many school, church and civic activities until his health would no longer permit it.

Survivors: Loving wife, Darlene L. Wenner; Daughters: Susan Lynn wife of Henry Ward and Jennifer Louise wife of David A. Simms of Bethlehem, with whom he resided with, he also leaves three grandchildren: Alexis and Mason Simms and Sierra Ward, he is also survived by a Brother: Warren M. Wenner II and his wife Linda Sue.
