Charlotte Skeans Charlotte Skeans

Charlotte Skeans, 94, of Allentown, formerly of Lakewood, Ohio and Williamsburg, VA, died August 2, 2017 at Legacy Place Cottages, Allentown. She was the wife of the late John P. Skeans. Born in Edinburg, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Weeks and the late Thera (Carver) Weeks. Charlotte was a stay at home mom and delighted in teaching and playing with her sons and their friends. She showed the same love and care for her grandson as he grew up. She was beloved because of her kindness and sincere interest in others. Many have expressed appreciation for the impact that Charlotte had on their lives. In 1961 she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. From that time onward she added a full ministry to her life. She delighted in speaking with people about the Good News of God’s Kingdom and helping them learn Bible Truths. She was in a number of Congregations from Ohio to Pennsylvania and Virginia. Charlotte enjoyed eating out and was known and well liked by the staff of many local restaurants. She had a special way of sharing a kind word with everyone. Charlotte believed in the Bible’s promise of a resurrection to life on paradise earth. We look forward to welcoming her back to life when Jehovah fulfills His promise.
