Rosalyn M. Saba Rosalyn M. Saba

Rosalyn M. Saba, 91, of Allentown, passed away peacefully at home among her loved ones on Friday morning, December 29, 2017. She was the loving wife of the late Edward T. Saba with whom she shared 65 years of marriage. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the American Lebanese daughter of the late Nabeha and David Sadd. She was a devoted housewife throughout the years and helped her husband with his manufacturer’s sales representative business. Rosalyn had a passion for sports as an avid Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan. At one time she was seen on live TV cheering on the visiting Cleveland Indians against the Baltimore Orioles from Camden Yards in Baltimore, MD. Rosalyn was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Allentown, and a member of the Eastern Star Organization. Rosalyn also had a passion for Lebanese food, especially cooking her popular grape leaves and rice dish with lamb meat which all the grandchildren loved. She was equally passionate about her Lebanese music with her favorite singers; cousin Laurice Peters and famous entertainer Danny Thomas (founder of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital). The Saba family wishes to thank Rosalyn’s special caregivers at home (Ari, Naze and Jimmy) for their steadfast devotion to her well-being for the past six years. The family also wishes to extend their appreciation and thanks to the Lehigh Valley Hospice Unit as well as her longtime family physician, Dr. John Wolf.
