Becca Leigh Siegfried, 37, of Lower Macungie Township died Thursday, January 18, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. She was the wife of Trevor S. Siegfried with whom she celebrated 7 years of marriage on October 16, 2017. Born in Oneonta, NY, she was the daughter of Linda (Jones) Douglas of Morris, NY and the late Barry Douglas. A 1998 graduate of Morris Central School, Becca received her Bachelor’s Degree in English from Niagara University, Lewiston, NY in 2002. She attended Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, MI and received her Teaching Certificate from Muhlenberg College. Becca did her student teaching and substitute teaching at various school districts including, Easton, East Penn, Salisbury and Wilson. Before receiving her teaching certificate, she was a claims analyst for Guardian Life Insurance Company, Bethlehem. Becca loved teaching, but chose to give up her career to start a family. She and Trevor were blessed to have 3 beautiful boys. First came Owen, then Aiden and 3 months ago Liam. They were her pride and joy. She was a devoted wife and mother who treasured her family. A talented artist, Becca enjoyed arts, crafts and ceramics. She was an avid reader and actively participated in a local Mom’s group.

Survivors: Husband; Mother; beloved sons, Owen, Aiden and Liam all at home; brother, Keith Woodbeck and his wife Jill; sister, Sherry Harvey all of Garretsville, NY; father-in-law, Scott R. Siegfried of Whitehall; mother-in-law, Anita (Hall) Siegfried Detterbeck and her husband Patrick of The Villages, FL; sister-in-law, Anika Siegfried Frey and her husband Brandon of Lehighton; nephews; nieces; extended family and many friends.

Memorial Service 7:00PM Thursday in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th & Hamilton Sts., Allentown. Call 5:30 to 7:00PM Thursday in the funeral home. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Becca’s memory to Trevor S. Siegfried for the educational funds for their three sons, c/o the funeral home, 1601 Hamilton St., Allentown, PA 18102.
