Janice Diane McKeown Baumann, 67, of Allentown, passed away September 21, 2018 in the VNA of St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. She was the loving wife of the Rev. Richard B. Baumann. Janice was a graphic artist and watercolorist for local newspapers and the St. Petersburg Times until retiring. Born in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Clifton and Marianna (Peterson) McKeown. She was a graduate of Northeast High School and the Tomlinson Adult Learning Center, St. Petersburg, FL. Janice was a student of Art History, Classical Literature and Opera. She traveled extensively in Europe and the Caribbean, over 25 cruises. She fought an eight year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. She enjoyed painting and traveling during her convalescence. She was a supporter of Allentown "Safe Haven" Homeless Project. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Allentown, a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was a former secretary of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kutztown.

Survivors: Husband, Richard, Nieces and Nephews. A Sister: Marilyn Maintanis preceded her in death.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 2 P.M. in St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 417 N. 7th St., Allentown.
