Nancy E. Geary

Nancy E. Geary 84, of Allentown passed away June 2, 2022 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the wife of the late John W. Geary. Nancy worked in the Banking Industry for 40 years, starting her career at the First National Bank of Allentown and retiring from the Wells Fargo College Park Branch in Allentown. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Margaret (Delong) David. She was a long-time member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Emmaus. Nancy’s passions were her love of family, always concerned for everyone’s well-being and accomplishments, always unselfishly taking care of her family. Friends, many from her banking career, gardening and of course shopping were also passions. Her flower beds were an ongoing project. We’ll remember her mandatory ‘estate tours’ as we observed additions made since the last visit. Never one to pass up a good sale, we’ll always hear her say, “You just can’t pass that up!” as she showed off the day’s finds. Her laugh was unforgettable and her enthusiasm for life was contagious. Geary and his wife Jennifer of Allentown, Sister: Linda David of Macungie, Grandchildren: Shannon wife of Kyle Tyler of Quakertown and Alexander Geary of Allentown and Great-Grandchildren: Lilliana and Brayden. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 A.M. in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home 16th and Hamilton Sts. Allentown. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Pl.
