Antonio Angello

“I am in the comforting presence of divine love. I am fulfilled and at peace. The Lord is always with me so I am never alone. I am a man of deep faith and love for my family and friends.” These words were reflective of Antonio Angello, 93, of Allentown, who passed away May 31, 2026 at the Evertrue Luther Crest Health Center in South Whitehall Township. His loving wife of 52 years, Karen and two very dear friends were by his side. Antonio served many years in hair fashion as a consultant in New York City, a manager of a large Neusteter spa salon in Colorado, and an owner of his own salon. His great love and gifts in art resulted in his devoting much of his life to oil painting and sculpting. He grew up in Colorado in a nurturing family with three sisters and a brother. His parents provided him the opportunity to attend Christian junior and senior high boarding school in New Mexico from which he graduated. He also attended college at Adams State. He was proud to be a Veteran of the Air Force. Antonio and Karen shared an incredible life together having lived in many different parts of the country. They were involved in many national endeavors in which they made life-long friends as Antonio had a special gift in reaching out to others. Antonio was involved in service organizations throughout their moves such as Kiwanis and Sertoma, community boards and art associations. He loved creating a beautiful landscaped yard. During retirement he and Karen traveled regularly to their beloved New England and made several cross-country trips to see family and friends out west. Antonio will always be remembered for being kind, caring and generous. His smile warmed everyone’s heart. He believed in daily devotions and prayer and lived genuinely the life of his Christian teachings. Survivors are his wife, Karen and several devoted nieces and nephews. Karen thanks all the family members and caring friends that have been by his side these past four years. As a private man, Antonio wished to focus on the present more than the past as he always felt we should think about how to make life better for those around us. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to causes important to Antonio: protecting our children or preserving our climate – or complete an act of kindness for someone and smile knowing how happy that would make Antonio. Services are private. Antonio’s final resting place will be in Billings, MT with Karen’s family. The family expresses its gratitude to the LVHN Interventional Radiology Team, the Evertrue Luther Crest Health Center, and Serenity Hospice for their caring and extraordinary care.
