Robert (Bob) L. Cawley

Robert (Bob) L. Cawley, 63, of Lower Macungie Township, passed away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family and dogs on Memorial Day, May 27, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Tara L. Cawley who devoted the last 4.5 years of life to his care and comfort. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Harry E. Cawley, Jr. and the late Shirley J. (Kershner) Uhler. He was the Step-Son of the late Laenore M. (Yeisley) Cawley and the late Dale Uhler. Bob was a lifetime entrepreneur, owning and operating several businesses throughout his time with a passion for managing his own rental properties and going above and beyond as an exceptional landlord. Always self-made, he beat to his own drum and lived each day in the moment. He loved nothing more than being a “Pop Pop” to his two beloved grandchildren and spending time with his family of which he made it a point to visit or talk to every single day. He was a loyal and honorable servant to his friends, all of which he loved individually and would do anything for. He was the epitome of a handyman who could fix anything, anywhere. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved archery hunting, saltwater fishing and working in his back yard. He worked out daily and took pride in staying in shape and maintaining his health. Bob valued character over pedigree and looked for the good in each person. He was loved and admired by so many and will be greatly missed but his decency, sincerity and kind soul will stay with us forever. He is survived by his Wife, Son: Robert K. Cawley and his wife Alissa of Fogelsville, Daughter: Tessa M. Cawley of Macungie, Brother: H. Scott Cawley of Macungie, Step-Daughters: Sydney Cole and Katelyn Cole of Macungie and Two Grandchildren: Quinn and Addison Cawley. Dogs: Zoey and Bella. The family will be having a private burial service. A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held in his honor with food, drinks, live music, children’s activities, etc..
